Electronika 60 / IBM PC version 1984
The very first version, built by Alexey Pajitnov and colleagues in Moscow; simple text-mode graphics, the origin point for every version that followed.

Arcade and early home computer ports mid–late 1980s
Tetris spread to arcade cabinets and home computers like the Commodore 64 and early IBM PCs during the wave of unofficial and officially-licensed ports that followed its initial spread out of the Soviet Union.

Nintendo Game Boy version 1989
Bundled with the original Game Boy handheld in many regions; widely credited as the release that turned Tetris into a global phenomenon.
